Wire Question for Multistrand Necklace and Pendant

Hi Christine,

It seems I am always asking you something since I signed up. Guess it's because you always have helped!

I tried to make a three strand necklace. I used a pendant, put all the strands through and beaded one half at a time. I used beadalon 7strand .19 and a three strand clasp. I cannot keep the wires straight and the whole necklace just twists and turns.

Is there a tutorial on this process?

Should I have done each strand separately,and should I have used a heavier wire?
