Where to find metal tubing for pearl necklace ends?

I'm looking for the metal tubing that you put on the thread that strings pearls, at the end just before the jump ring or clasp, so the thread won't wear from the metal rubbing on it.

It is flexible so that it can bend at the place where the metal will be touching.

I found some plastic tubing that will hold the string and keep it from abrading on the wire it is attatched to, but I would be happier if it were wire tubing. That way it could last longer. I found it at Michael's Craft store.

I am desperate to find the protectors that are used to keep the silk thread for pearls to be strung and attatched to a metal jump ring and not be shreaded. I looked at the last website that I was given, and they had something that would work, but not the way I wanted it to.

I buy most of my findings from here, the hard to find ones...excuse the pun.

My friend owns a bead shop and she gets most of her bead findings from there as well.
