Where to find good quality chains for making jewelry?

by Allison
(NJ)

I have been looking for the right chains for my jewelry making.

Most of it feels light and/or flimsy. I want chains that will not tarnish. A good selection would be great, too.

I have checked a lot of the bead/craft stores in my area as well as some online suppliers.

Silver Chains

By all means, DreamLandJewelry.com.

I have placed a number of orders with them and have been super pleased with the quality of the chains. The shipping is reasonable and prompt, the only problem I have had is out of 5 orders - 1 order went astray and was delayed, but since this was an order being shipped to Canada, I suspect that it got caught up at customs.

Try Ohiobeads.com. They have a great selection in a variety of finishes and very well priced. Check out their fancy marquis fringe chain, this sent my creativity soaring!

Chain Response

I found some nice inexpensive silver-plated chains in different lengths and styles at
wiresculpture.com.

I think they may also have silver chains as well but I wasn't looking for those so I'm not exactly sure about their selection.
