What Gemstone Is This Pendant?

Can someone tell me what Gemstone this Pendant is?

It is 2 1/2" high and 1" wide. It has gold inlay? on top of it of Cranes.

It is a Pale Light Green in color with a matching 1"x1" smaller Pendant that is a much lighter shade of green or a creamy white.

My grandmother who lived in Japan gave it to me years ago. Any help as to what it is called or any description would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

plique au jour?
by: Anonymous

Can you see the back of it to be sure it's a stone, or are you just taking your cue from the front of the piece?
If it isn't jade, it might be plique au jour, essentially enamel.
It was very popular around the turn of the century, and quite possibly very valuable now.

My Opinion

I say Jade as well. Jade is beautiful and comes in several colors. Very lucky as well.

My Guess

I'd guess, based on the uniform color and the style of the artwork of the inlay, that it's Jade, Jadeite type.
