Tips to Glue Leather Into Curved Silver Tubing?

The leather fits snugly into the silver tube but the glue will not go down the tube as the entrance is too narrow.

If you are not comfortable with the snugness of the leather alone, I would pull out the leather at one end and squirt some GSHypo glue into the tube and replace the leather.
