How to Knot Elastic Lacing

Tie the cord in a square knot, then add a dot of glue to keep it from slipping.

Crimp Bead Works Too

You can also add a crimp bead (make sure you squeeze) just before cutting the ends of the knots. You can still add a dab of glue for extra security.
