I am not sure what you mean about the jump rings twisting, do you mean the orientataion of the ring to the pendant? Can you show us in a picture?

hi pam and thanks 4 ur response. dont know how to do the pic thing. but what i mean is that i put the jump ring(s) on the pendant then place the jump ring(s)with pendant on the chain, ribbon, etc. when the piece is worn the pendant thats hanging on the jumpring(s) is backwards. showing the back of the pendant instead of the pretty side!IS THERE A SPECIFIC WAY/SIDE THAT THE JUMP RINGS ARE SUPPOSED TO BE PUT ON? stop jump rings from twisting by: Anonymous
When you look at your pendant straight on is there a ring attached to it? If so it must be oriented so when you look at it straight on, you can not see through it. In order for a pendant, earring or anything that hangs the ring must be at right angles to the pendant. If you can see the hole straight on, add another jump ring and you should be good. Hope I haven't confused you.
The switch knot is a decorative lacy macrame/ hemp jewelry knot that helps you save on twine too. This tutorial shows you how to tie one with clear pictures and instructions.
A sliding knot is a wonderfully easy way to end off a leather, string, hemp, or corded necklace or bracelet. It looks neat and stylish, is a very practical closure, and is very easy to make.
