One of my favorite non-silver items to stamp are copper washers, available for a great price in a box of assorted sizes from harborfreight.com (item# 93324, 110 pc. About $10 or less).
They make great links, charms and pendants and if you mess them up with too much texture there's no waste!
Michaels Craft store has some copper brass and silver color blanks some already in shapes to stamp or put in the cup and curve it. I have been happy with it. I have even soldered the silver color and the copper. They also carry blanks, and with a jeweler's saw, that costs about 6 bucks and a few blades (inexpensive too) if you are in business for some one-of-a-kind shapes.
Hi! I was googling our name Metalfetish on Etsy and found this great link.
Thank you for mentioning Metalfetish.Etsy.com but we have moved our entire business to our new website, www.stampingoutloud.com and was wondering if you would be so kind as to change it from our etsy web address to our new address?
If you have any other questions, please feel free to let us know at [email protected] Thanks so much and I love your site!
The switch knot is a decorative lacy macrame/ hemp jewelry knot that helps you save on twine too. This tutorial shows you how to tie one with clear pictures and instructions.
A sliding knot is a wonderfully easy way to end off a leather, string, hemp, or corded necklace or bracelet. It looks neat and stylish, is a very practical closure, and is very easy to make.
