Is there a sizing chart for children's chunky necklaces and bracelets?

Childrens measurements (my own experience)
by: Lindsey Jo

Hello Connie!!!

Great question! I have fought with this for years. My three year old daughter has dainty hands and wrists, but is as tough as a boy.

I've had the most success measuring out 4 inches of the stretch cord for her stretchy, beaded bracelets.

I secure them with a double surgeons knot and a drop of jewelers glue.

When making wire bracelets I use 5-6 inches bc I know I'll lose some in the crimping and finishing stages.

As far as necklaces for her I use 13 inches of wire and 10-11 for stretchy. Hope this helps!!!
