Watch This Propane Torch Video to Learn How to Hold a Propane Torch for Jewelry Making

Do you want to learn how to solder jewelry? Maybe you think the equipment will be too expensive, or you're not sure you want to invest in the whole oxy-acetylene setup just yet.

Here's what I did: I invested in a charcoal block, soldering pad, some Sparex pickle, and third hand from a jewelry supply source, but the first torch I ever used for jewelry making was a propane torch.

I was a little leery of fire, so I looked for some guidance. I found a few books and articles on the subject, but when I watched this video I really got a good feel for how to do it.
