A lot of sites on the internet sell long jewlery boxes. You can get 8" by about 2" boxes right away with little money. Special made boxes like I have to use are more expensive. The 8X2 boxes can run about 1-2 dollars each if you search.

I use jewelry boxes for house parties. I think jewelry boxes add to the cost of shipping. I prefer using jewelry pouches and then a bubble envelope.

I put all my sold items in little boxes before shipping.

I put earrings on card stock to fit the opening of the box. I put necklaces in slightly larger boxes with the cotton in them. Then I cut bubble wrap and place on top of necklace then the box top.

I get the boxes at Michaels Craft store. I think the earring box is like 1 1/2 by 2 inches and the necklace box is maybe 3 by 3 inches.

Then pop them into a bubble wrap mailer with a business card signed on the back with a Thank You handwritten and signed.

Both boxes are under $1.00 at Michaels.
