How do you join the two pieces of the flat chain when creating a floating necklace with out a clasp?

First of all, I would like to see an example of a floating chain necklace, I don't know what it is.


Secondly, I would just use a jump ring, it might not be the same shape of the necklace, just wear it in the back.

Also, you can make a link by buying wire of the same diameter of the chain, hammer it or what ever they are doing to the chain, and use the open end to attach after hardening by either tumbling or hammering with a rawhide hammer.

The non-clasp floating necklace that I own does not have a clasp.You cannot see where it has been joined.

Maybe it has been soldered and hidden under a bead? It is very long and you just put it over your head and then wrap it around as many times as you wish.
