Making A Loop After Beading A Head Pin

by Brenda

I'm fairly new to the jewelry making arena and I've found when I'm making earrings, the loops I make after the last bead on my head pin wire is always off center. So when I attach it to the earring hook it hangs funny.

I'm using a round nose pliers to make the loop. Is this the best tool to use?

Maybe there are other tools I should consider? Or maybe it's just a case of practice makes perfect?

Thanks!

Bend The Headpin
by: Deci Worland

Before starting the loop, bend the headpin down at a right angle, then loop back towards your bead, this should center it.
