How to Make a Leather Bracelet
This leather bracelet is really very simple to make. It's just a different version of my Hemp Bracelet With Beads
To make this bracelet, instead of hemp twine, use 1.5 mm leather cord. You can often buy it by the foot at bead shops. My best guess would be to use about 1.5 feet folded in half for the filler cords, and about 6 feet folded in half for the knotters. This is just an estimate. I like to err on the side of too much rather than too little because you can't add more after the fact.
Substitute gold pony beads for the ceramic ones.
Now start the same way, with an overhand knot.
Instead of making one square knot between beads, make three square knots.
Add a bead to your filler cords, then make three more square knots.
Continue until you've made your bracelet long enough, then finish it off with a brown wooden bead closure. You can follow my bead closure instructions here.
