Lava Rock, Black Onyx, Tourmalinated Quartz and Crystal Quartz Necklace and Earring Set

I've always used sea glass or beach glass and wire-wrapped them for necklaces, bracelets and earrings for friends and family. When I discovered gemstone beads, I became addicted to making all kinds of colorful and seasonal themed jewelry!

For this set (knowing that blacks and grays are all the rage this season), I used Lava Rock drilled gemstone beads in various sizes, black onyx beads, tourmalinated quartz and crystal quartz to create this necklace and bracelet set! I used beading wire, thick black stringing cord (knotted) to secure the heavier pieces, silver plated spacer beads, and silver plated findings. I used non-allergenic surgical steel earwires. I made the piece assymetrical for a different look. I used a different approach to the traditional stringing methods and was fun to make!
