I've been making jewelry for about 5 years.
The expense of map gas and other supplies keeps me from doing lamp worked beads...
However I am also interested in Polymer Clay.
Could anyone tell me what things I need to buy FIRST & FOREMOST as I'm working off about a $200 budget to get things started.
(I've already purchased a pasta machine & an oven for the clay.)
I do several craft shows a year at local high schools.
My target clientele are those who want more whimsical designs and creations, however I do want to make sure they 'look' like high quality work.
I also intend on making 'lamp work inspired' clay beads.'
What other tools do you recommend?
Also...what type of clay have you had the most experience and best results with?
Thank you,
Many Blessings,
~Katie
