Is it better to sell on Etsy or Artfire, or your own site?

Is it better to sell your handmade jewelry on your own site (that sells other items besides jewelry) or is it better to sell on Artfire & Etsy?

Beats me. I'm on Artfire and it took me awhile to figure out how to design my website. Go Daddy was easier but I didn't get any responses. So far, in the past two months, I've only gotten one order, and that was from my daughter! It's somewhat discouraging but I'll keep trying.I know of a friend who has been with Etsy for two months and she has only had one sale as well. That's all folks!
