Inverse alternating chevron

Sorry it's a bad quality, my camera is old
I am trying to make an inverse alternating chevron bracelet, but my threads after I finished the 4th row (using 8 strings total) are the same color as the above row... The patterns I'm looking at show the opposite color being above the 4th row, what am I doing wrong or can I get instruction to begin my second row of opposite colors?
