Ideas of Where to Teach Private Jewelry Lessons

Hello.

I would like to know some ideas of where to teach private jewelry lessons in a public atmosphere. I do not want to go to people's homes, nor do I want them coming to mine.

I don't have a studio yet, therefore I need a public space, such as a restaurant lunch atmosphere? Would that be appropriate?

I am charging $70. For 2 hrs to learn 1 method. Thank you.

How about scrap booking shops
by: Anonymous

Hi,
I know of some scrap booking shops that have workshop tables for teaching classes. Perhaps you could speak to the owner about some arrangement where they either benefit from you exposing more people to their shop (so no fee for using the space) or where they get some compensation for lending the space.

You could also hunt out a coffee shop that is looking a bit too empty. If you asked ahead of time they would likely appreciate your business and the appearance of having customers. Of course this depends on how much equipment you need to teach your class.

Hope this helps,
Chrystal
