I would like to know how to string an object with no holes for a pendant.

How can your wrap a stone or object that does not have holes? I have seen little basket type things but can't figure out how to string it..help!

Been looking for the same thing, I see those links were to wrapping stones in metal wire, but I also am looking for advice on wrapping them in string: I found some beautiful green stones wrapped in lovely brown string at a charity shop, and would love to do some more like that. Never used this forum before not sure you'll ever get this but if you do, please let me know if you found it anywhere!
