How to Keep Shell Jewelry from Turning Yellow

My shell jewelry from Bali is turning yellow.

I just designed and received a large quantity of carved shell jewelry from Bali. I'm watching the white iridescence turn into a smokey yellow. What can I do to preserve it's natural white pearly lustre?
