I work with seniors and we make stretch bracelets and rings. I would like to teach them something different but something not to hard for them to do. They would like to learn to make necklaces.

Beautiful Leatherette Necklaces

Micheal's has a wonderful selection of natural pendants including wood, semi-precious stones and metal. The cording I myself use on my scrying pendants.

You can purchase this on a card of about 3 ft. of faux leather which they call leatherette, feels like leather, has the look of genuine leather, and is very affordable especially for group projects.

You can embellish with wood beads or stone, anything you might want to add to the strand itself. Knot it at the two ends and they can comfortably slip it over their head. Also projects can be for men or women, depending on the findings used.
