How do I make rings or earings out of buttons?

I have some beautiful buttons that would make great rings or earrings but I have never made jewelry and do not know where to start.

Do they have Shanks?????If they do..Get a Shank Cutter or a medal cutter or maybe a wire cutter will do..Cut off the shank..Get some Stud earring backs with a pad on it and glue them on to them. Or rings at craft supply store that pad for a setting that will hold your buttons and glue them in place

Hi!

I just did a search on Youtube and found this great video tutorial that shows you how to make wire rings with beads and with buttons.

If you do a u tube search for How to make a WIRE RING there are lots of videos available. Watch a few and develop your own version of a button and wire ring. if you don't have a ring mandrel a large tapered magic marker works good.

THink of the buttons like charms and make a bracelet with jump rings through the holes of teh buttons! I wish I had a picture to show you! I LOVE buttons, it was my nick-name in high school. :)
