Do they have Shanks?????If they do..Get a Shank Cutter or a medal cutter or maybe a wire cutter will do..Cut off the shank..Get some Stud earring backs with a pad on it and glue them on to them. Or rings at craft supply store that pad for a setting that will hold your buttons and glue them in place

If you do a u tube search for How to make a WIRE RING there are lots of videos available. Watch a few and develop your own version of a button and wire ring. if you don't have a ring mandrel a large tapered magic marker works good.
