Five Steps to Your Best Beads for Making Jewelry

#1 – Find your price range.

When making handmade
beads, price is everything. From the simplest paper beads to super glass beads, your price range decides it all.

So, if you're willing to buy a kiln, then why not go for that next step up?

On the other hand, if this project is something fun for you to do with your child, maybe you should stick to things that are simple and inexpensive. As any mother knows, kids tend to make a mess!

#2 – Figure out what kind of beads you want.

Glass? Paper? A combination?

If possible, try to incorporate what you have on hand.

Do you already own a kiln or torch? Do you have a ton of leftover wrapping paper from Christmas that you've been dying to get rid of?
