How to Make a Wire Wrapped Gemstone Pendant with Prongs

This gemstone pendant uses only wire to securely hold a gemstone. Pretty, elaborate setting isn't it? No solder necessary.

Although these instructions use the author's ingenious jig, you can also make this pendant using your own tools and mandrels.

• Argentium Sterling Silver Wire  21 gauge Square   ½ hard
• Argentium Sterling Silver Wire  22 gauge ½ round ½ hard
• Practice Wire 20 gauge and 22 gauge
• Gemstone
• Oval Guide the size of Gemstone

Tools needed:

• Round Nose Pliers
• Flat Nose Pliers
• Flush Cutters
