What are some methods and patterns for making earrings using gemstone chips and nuggets?

Two Gemstone Chip Earring Ideas

You can stack them on a headpin, turn a loop in the top and put them on an earwire.

Another way is to string them on beading thread.

Start with one end strung through a clam or beading tip, string on the chips, put the thread through the bottom of the tip.

To finish I usually string the thread ends through a seed bead, tie a tight knot, add a drop of glue, close the tip and put on an earwire.
