Galvanized Steel Wire

Galvanize wire is not a good choice

A. Due to the fact the steel is coated with zinc and some people are sensitive/allergic to the zinc.

B. If you are heating the wire hot enough to cause the tips to ball you will also be vaporizing the zinc coating and this creates toxic fumes that can have some serious health hazards, if you are Not in a properly ventilated room, or doing this in a hood to draw the fumes away from you.
