Crimping Help Needed

I crimped #2 crimp beads on Beadalon 0.46mm 7 bead stringing wire and I could not make it hold.

I did everything as instructed, but my crimping pliers could not snug the bead tightly (I did two-step crimping) and finally I just used tip of my pliers to flatten crimp bead.

What's wrong?

Thank you. Irina Collister.

When you use Beadalon wire, you have to use
beadalon crimps.

Crimp Compatability Query
by: Anonymous

I'm puzzled by one of these comments, which says if using Beadalon wire, one has to use Beadalon crimps. Why would that be? I haven't found this to be true.

Any crimp tube, so long as it's appropriately sized for the wire being used, is suitable. (The Beadalon wire doesn't know what brand of crimp you have)

Has something gone over my head here?
