Leather in Earrings

All that I can think of includes macrame using leather and cloth.

But Szarka of Magpie Gemstones has done a beautiful job with leather and turquoise on a personal set of jewelry.

Making leather and cloth jewelry

You can use spray glue to attach the material to a wood or plastic base.. You could also use paper mache as a base. For found earrings, fabric stores have blank buttons which snap apart so you can mount fabric to make custom buttons. You can then hot glue on a earring back.

The best cloth to use for making jewelry

The best thing to use in this case might be some wire cloth. This is strong material, that is also easily bent and shaped. Easy to work with and great for all kinds of jewelry.
