You can use a surgen's knot at the end, or use a good knot and glue it with a jewler's glue.

I use a little drop of crazy glue on my knots, just enough to keep it from coming apart. It seems to work on my home made bracelets made with elastic string.

Where are your bracelets coming apart?
Are they coming apart where you have added the clasp?
Are they coming apart where you have joined two parts of the bracelet?
Where?

Having problems with my bracelets coming apart by: Anonymous
I have the same problem. Mine come apart either by pulling lose from the crimp, even though they seem to be tight. they also come loose from the jump ring. Ive tried placing a spot of jewelers glue on the opening of the ring when i pulled it closed. ive also tried a small amount of soldering.

hi ive not had bracelets w/ clasps come apart but the knotted ones i have. i started using a square knot /gluing and if the beads are large enuf i end w/an overhand knot. if using smaller beads a square knot and small amt of glue works for me. since i started doing this -- viola--- no bracelets/necklaces/come apart. hope i explained it well and that it works for you!!! HAPPY DAYS!!!
The switch knot is a decorative lacy macrame/ hemp jewelry knot that helps you save on twine too. This tutorial shows you how to tie one with clear pictures and instructions.
A sliding knot is a wonderfully easy way to end off a leather, string, hemp, or corded necklace or bracelet. It looks neat and stylish, is a very practical closure, and is very easy to make.
