Beginner Tool List?

by Linda

I lost the printout I had of the list of the right pliers, etc. I need to start making jewelry.

I know the name Lindstrom, but not the name of the tools themselves.

Thanks,
Linda

The pliers are called:

Flat-Nose Pliers (for opening and closing jump rings, for holding onto tiny parts)

Chain-Nose Pliers (for opening and closing jump rings, for holding onto tiny parts)

Round-Nose Pliers (for making round wire shapes like for making bead dangles)

Crimping Pliers (For crimp beads if stringing beads onto beading wire)

Flush Cutters (For cutting wire)

Memory Wire Cutters (never use your flush cutters for cutting memory wire. The wire is too hard and will wreck your flush cutters)

That is about all you need to get started making jewelry. Of course there are tons more tools out there but you can make a great assortment of earrings, bracelets, and necklaces with those tools.
