Bead Jewelry: Undoing an Already Beaded Strand

by Kathy
(SW Florida)

I bought some strung beads at a thrift store. They were knotted, I believe.

I went to cut them apart to use, but they won't come apart! Each bead comes off separately.

How do I remove the string inside each bead - or should I just throw them out?

Thanks.

Most jewelry scisors are made for cutting between the beads. If you have those try them. The beads if glued onto the string, I don't think can be saved. Does anybody have an idea on that?
