Agate Wire Wraped Pendant

Natural Agate Pendant

Natural Agate Pendant

My name is Cristina and I'm from Portugal.
I'm fairly new to wire wrapping, since I discovered it just some months ago, but I'm sooo in love with it! Wire is so versatile! We can do just about anything with it which is why I love it so much, I think.

I don't have a lot of time to make jewelry. I'm a working mum and I can only make it at night and not every day, 'cause sometimes I'm just too tired, so I have just a few wire wrapped pieces.

I decided to start with some cheap practice wire and glass, now I moved on to better supplies.

I've purchased some new beads to play with...

Large agate diamond shaped beads, around 4x3cm. I saw them at the shopping mall and couldn't resist!

Here's my latest love story: A natural Agate bead, which I wire wrapped into a pendant with silver plated wire.

I look at it and see a whale's tail, a friend told me she sees a tree... What do you see?

By the way... I can't think of a name for it. Can you help me?

Thank you so much for looking.

Cristina, from Sunshine's Creations

It reminds me of leaves and petals blowing on the wind..the blossoms of autumn.
I too am addicted, so know what you mean. Yet this piece is just so lovely you would not believe you are just starting. I think you have a natural talent for wire wrapping.
The name that springs to mind for this is Leaf Falling:

Thank you!
